" Huh? Is my work going well? It's fine! Thanks for worrying about it!"

Deco (デコ) is one of the mysterious figures shown at the beginning of mk2 and also appears in Victory as a citizen of Planeptune in the 1980's Dimension, along with Compile and Dangly.

She is part of the "Exhausted", characters based off of game companies that have gone defunct that reside in Gamindustri Graveyard.

Personality[]

Not much is known about Deco, other then the fact she had an obsession/addiction with "yogurt mushrooms". So much so, it led to her death.

Appearance[]

Deco's hair is vaguely similar to White Heart's but it lacks the long strands of hair from the sides and is a water blue color, with lighter colored gradient on the ends. Her hair is shoulder length with her long bangs framing her face and held to the sides with small circled metal piece. Her skin is pale, and her eyes are the same shade of orange-peach as her dress.

Deco wears an orange-peach dress with tanktop sleeves and ruffled skirt. At the chest is a small Deco symbol, and at her neck is a metal piece with black "bolt"-like shape in the center. Around her waist is a black scarf-like belt. She has metal bracers below her shoulders and at her ankles while her orange shoes clip on with metal pieces and have black heels.

On her head is a red tag/scroll/paper. In her hand is a mushroom, likely one of the 'yoghurt mushrooms' that she seems to be addicted to.

Mk2[]

She is shown along with Compile and Dangly in the Gamindustri Graveyard. They are rarely shown outside of the intro clip and on the Gamindustri Graveyard Chirper feature. She, as well as the other two worked at the Gamindustri Graveyard Coliseum as receptionist girls.

Victory[]

Deco makes a living appearance in the 1980s Gamindustri as a citizen of Planeptune, along with Compile and Dangly. Unfortunately however, she dies at some point between Chapters 2 and 3 due to what Nepstation describes as 'eating too many Yoghurt Mushrooms', and as such is never seen again.

Trivia[]

  • Deco is based on the "DECO Cassette System " by Data East. A well known maker in arcades back in the '80s and '90s with only a few games on consoles. They decided to stick with arcades instead of advancing like many other companies however, which led to their demise. Some of their employees left the company to form the game developer Idea Factory.
